I am a public health physician and researcher whose work spans key areas of Infectious Diseases, Cancers, Gender Equity, Family and Reproductive Health, and Maternal and Child Health. I hold affiliations with notable institutions such as the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, the West African College of Physicians, the Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria, and the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine, University of Benin and University of Benin Teaching Hospital.

My research has been pivotal in advancing knowledge around pandemic preparedness and response, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, where I co-authored impactful studies on facility-based surveillance among healthcare workers and community-level adherence to mitigation strategies in Benin City. These have been published in reputable journals, including the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and the Nigerian Postgraduate Medical Journal.

I am also deeply committed to improving outcomes in maternal and child health (MCH). My recent research explores access to home-based MCH services and quality of antenatal care (ANC) services in primary healthcare facilities in Edo State

Through my current engagement with the EmpowerHer Fellowship of Women in Global Health Nigeria, I actively contribute to the Research for Gender Equity stream, advocating for improved access to MCH services for women in underserved communities. My work combines advocacy, evidence generation, and policy engagement to strengthen health systems from a gender-transformative lens.

I was recently awarded an Award of Distinction in recognition of my exceptional performance in a national public health examination, further highlighting my academic excellence and professional impact.
