Dr. Cassandra Akinde is an award-winning global health and research consultant committed to advancing health equity and strengthening systems for underserved communities worldwide. With over seven years of international experience across Africa and Europe, she brings a strategic blend of clinical expertise, research acumen, and program leadership to initiatives focused on maternal and child health, WASH, nutrition, menstrual hygiene, and vaccine-preventable diseases.

As Executive Director of The Neo Child Initiative for Africa, she has led high-impact interventions reaching over 40,000 individuals while driving policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement across diverse communities. A Chevening Scholar and recipient of prestigious honors, including the 2025 She Leads Africa Top 50 women under 30, UK Alumni Award for Social Action 2024 and The Future Africa Award for Health & Wellness 2022, her work bridges the gap between data and action to drive sustainable change.

Dr. Cassandra holds an MBA from Quantic School of Business & Technology, an MSc in Tropical Medicine and International Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and an MBBS from the University of Lagos. She is widely published and has collaborated with global organizations such as Save the Children UK, Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office to develop scalable, evidence-based solutions that centre equity, innovation, and impact.
